Family Lines
Walter Dean Barteaux & Betty Mae Stevens Barteaux Adoptive parents of Richard Lee Barteaux.
The family had made money from defense contracts for NASA, according to Dr. Richard L. Farr, "W. Dean Barteaux owned an aerospace defense company named "BARCO AVIATION"-the original source of the Barteaux family wealth-located on Exposition Blvd (near the LA/Santa Monica, CA, border), from the early to mid 1950's, until W. Dean Barteaux sold the company sometime in the late 1980's (possibly the early 1990's) Richard Lee Barteaux sporadically worked for Barco Aviation during the 1970's and 1980's, until leaving California for Wyoming (approximately late 1980's/1990 period)." This is exactly what I remember. But I would never say Richard actually worked, just that he drew an income.

Richard Lee Barteaux
Richard was adopted by the Barteauxs at birth. Richard Lee Barteaux's birth name (prior to adoption) was: Joseph Aloysius MANGOLD, according to Dr. Richard L. Far, who is posting information which I, in large part, can confirm, on this site.
His birth mother was, according to two reliable sources, an unwed student from UCLA whose last name was said to be Gold or Goldstein. There was no report of the father's name or background but his adopted mother, Betty Mae Barteaux, told his first wife, Melinda, his mother was Jewish in background.

Richard pursued his interest in Adolph Hitler, listening to his speeches and wearing his SS uniform on and off for many years. He was unaware of his own background.
Carolyn Anne Barteaux is the eldest child of Richard Lee Barteaux, born of his marriage with Melinda Pillsbury-Foster (Nee Mary Linda Pillsbury). Her name is now Morgan Gell.
At the time the will of Walter Dean Barteaux was read, 2005, the question was posed on providing an inheritance to Morgan. Richard Lee Senior had been deceased for some years, having died in 1993 of chronic alcoholism. Richard Lee Junior forbade anyone in the family from contacting her.
Richard, Junior, has complete control of the estate, its income, coming from investments and an income derived from rentals of commercial property, estimated to have a worth of around 50 million dollars.
The law firm handling the estate is Douglas Smith, out of Newport Beach.

Richard Lee Barteaux, Junior has several homes, one is located on a golf course, La Quinta, in Palm Springs, and another hom, valued at two million, is located in Madera Ranch in Orange County.
His only paid job, except for his present income from the estate, was three weeks of bagging groceries at Ralphs in 1990.
Richard, Junior claims to be fully employed managing a family trust.
He is now building a second mansion for himself.
There are three offspring of the sole heir to the Barteaux Estate, those being Morgan Barteaux Pillsbury Gell, Richard Lee Barteaux, Junior, and Angel Dawn Barteaux.

Yet Morgan has never received a penny from the Trust and Richard Senior and his parents failed completely to provide a cent of support for her while she was growing up.
When asked about this Richard is quoted to have said, "Don't mention it to anyone."
Angel Dawn Barteaux lives in Modesto. She received 2 million from the Trust which provides a regular income, paid out monthly. Angel sells sex toys for Party Gal, to keep busy.
Joseph Aloysius MANGOLD
I became close friends with Richard Lee Barteaux beginning at California Military Academy, in the Autumn of 1963, and continued a close relationship with him and his parents, through approximately the end of 1971. Except for a period of several months (late May through approximately October/November, 1966) I was in nearly constant touch with Richard Barteaux (and his parents), and the events of his life, and his activities, thoughts, fantasies, outlooks, etc, during that 8 year period of time (from his 13th through his 21st years of life)
I will be happy to share this detailed, first-hand information with this blog, if any are interested.
